Really dig the delphi sealed terminal unit.

    Got a direct link?

I am in need of that for my gauges.

That is the fuse panel and terminals. (note that the seals that they sent to me did not fit the box and I had to order new ones)

I used Weatherpack 280 connectors and terminals/seals for the harness

made the mount for the fuse box today

16 ga sheet metal worked out really nice.

just need to finish it ( round sharp corners etc) and paint it and it can go back in when I have all the other wiring done

Yeah, I have steel left from the one I made for my blue sea. I would like to do what you did, but doubt I will. I am too lazy to rewire everything:facepalm:

this whole project will take time for me. I wont want to have to rewire in the future (add wires to loom ). I think I am going to go ahead a wire a reverse light circuit in and run the wires to the rear bumper and leave them. Then I can just add the fuse and plug in the lights in the future and be good to go.

I am going to put a breaker on this as well. just need to come up with one. I might make another one to hold a it as well. I forgot about it when I made the one pictured

Scored this off ebay for 15 bucks. Cooper Bussmann 100 amp breaker.

Now I need to make a new mounting plate for the fuse box and the breaker.

    Anyone want this other one?

On board air install started today

150 psi 100% DC VIAIR system.

I wanted to get the tank and compressor under the bed, and I dont have a spare under there, so there is plenty of room. I dont like the idea of mounting it through the bed, so I decided to build a nice crossmember for it

    all 1" .120 wall tubing

    cross member in the works

I was originally going to build two cross members like that, but after I got one attached, It was sturdy as hell and I decided to just box around the tank

    All grade 8 hardware.

It attaches to the frame with 2 1/2" grade 8 bolts ( had to drill two holes) I also cut the little alignment tabs for the factory spare off ( dont need them anyway)

about 3/8" clearance to the bottom of the bed. I cut the bottom of the feet off as well ( dont need them with the bolts going through the side.

and a shot with the frame mount

All iphone pics and its dark out there, so I will try and get some more later,.

Tomorrow I will make the mound for the compressor ( will be right behind the tank) and I will make a slash guard/skid plate for it. Where it is, it should never contact anything. I can hang on it ( Im 170 lbs but the unsupported side of the tank and it might flex 1/8" of an inch. its not going anywhere

Ill put up more pics tomorrow when the compressor is mounted

I was thinking about it, but found on last week that I will be on my way to Italy for work on Saturday. I wont be back until the 2nd.

    Are you taking your 4runner?

Shoe creek is somewhere that I really want to go

finished up the OBA mounting today

Added a mount for the compressor

and tucked it up on the truck

I am going to remote mount the air intake for the compressor and build a splash guard around it.

It hangs down about 1.5" below the frame rails, alot less than the factory spare

Now to plumb the air lines ( changing to 3/8" line so I have it on order) and to wire it all up and paint the crossmember
