    Orderd my tires today

    33 x 12.50 R 17 Grabber AT2

This is going to be my trial set to see how I like 33s and If I think they are too small I will swap to a 35" grabber maybe down the road when I can save up to regear it to 4:56

The 35 vs 33 debate was a hard one, but i figure these wont rub and will have good road manners for the winter months. Then I can re-evaluate next spring/summer

They should be here Monday and the lift installs goes down over labor day weeked :D

I have only taken the truck on the beach since I have had it.

the tires are bald ( and where when I bought it) so I havent really played around with it too much.

the bald tires worked well on the beach

I will find somewhere to go play around when I get it done and snap some pics

I should have plenty of travel in the rear and If I pull the sway up front I can stuff the 33s pretty easily I am sure.

35s will come down the road, but I will regear when I do that

I also want to work on some trail armor before I wheel it too much

I have kind of been kicking myself for not ordering the 35s, but I am sure I will be happy when It all goes together and I dont have to trim anything

    UPDATE 9/6/2010 :D

So we installed the suspension yesterday. Took 13 hours, but all went smoothly.

    Fabtech 6"
    Alcan Rear 6" Springs
    Bilstein 5125s
    Stainless Brakelines

Sorry for the blurry pics, the lightening sucked when I took them

So the eye candy first and I will go through some the the issues I ran into. Oh yeah, I had the lower bumper wrapped in matte vinyl too

OK some details. I bought this kit from another TW member used ( the Fabtech parts) and pieced together the rest.

I had a set of Alcans made in place of the rear blocks and AAL. I also put in the Alpro upbolt flip. I have a feeling that these shocks are too long. They are great in droop, but I think I will bottom them out flexed, but they are ok for now

I didnt like the idea of bending the hardlines and all those brackets that Fabtech sends to move the brake lines. So I replaced them from longer stainless lines from the GB. The rear were the perfect length. The fronts are a tad long, but should work out fine

I put in Icons up front instead on the spacer/standard shock

The next thing that I need to tackle is modding the exhaust.

    Its a little tight :)

I had it up the rack, and there is a massive amount of droop in the back.

Also, I answered my 33 vs 35 questions, I think these look perfect. I am glad that I went with 33s. The truck gets aligned in the morning and will be on the road.

I have noticed a little power loss, but I havent really hammered on it yet.

I love how the truck looks now, It is a tad bigger than I thought it would be, but all is well.

Very...VERY nice job! Jawdropping, and very special. Keep it up and keep up the posts!

I'm assuming you installed the S/C...so I have to ask, any problems with the dealer and the reflash?

So far the ride is suprisingly smooth. The springs are 300 lbs + for load capacity and I expected them to be really bouncy

I do have a little take off shutter, but a one piece DS should take care of that and is in my winter plan.

no reflash. I have the APR X-1 so no reflash is needed. I installed it and Gadget from URD came down to load up a map and tune it for me.

    Thanks for the compliments
