so the other day I noticed all my antifreeze was on the ground. I refilled my reservoir and checked for leaks. Nothing. Warmed the truck up to operating temp and still nothing. The next day I had to refill it again but ever since then it's been fine. Wtf?

Perhaps the water pump is starting to show signs of getting ready to let go. When bits and pieces of deteriorating seals move around they may let the coolant leak out then move around a bit and seal themselves up temporarily. Was the puddle centrally located, or off to one side or what?

All as in the contents of the overflow reservoir or the entire system? How much was added?

    this.

or you have a cold seep that self-seals when warm.
I had an Aprilia Falco that did this when it was below 5 deg F...it would weep it all out
    from a hose connection
(yes I rode it no matter how cold, I had electric inner layers from socks to hands to neck)

fill it, start it, it would seal up and be fine. and never weep again until temp dropped below 5F

find where it is actually dripping from

Well I noticed the splatter was coming from the direction of the radiator back to the motor so that rules out my water pump. I did tow an 18' trailer and a pt cruiser the day before but the truck never ran hot

Possible cracked radiator tube...or crack where the hoses enter the radiator, at the weld joint?

With that kind of loss it would seem you might be able to spot the leak visually. If not, you can rent a cooling system pressure tester from one of the mass marketers like Auto Zone.
