mysterious quirk

Hi guys and gals.I have a 2010 Tacoma that when it is turned off just sitting there parked,without keys in the ignition and the headlight control switch in the off position,my headlights will come on,stay on for a few minutes and then shut off.It happened twice last night that I know of.The truck has no issues about starting in the morning so it is not draining the battery.Has anyone else experienced this?

 

I have not but the first question that comes to mind is kind of like when things happend when you were a kid " what did you do" lol Have you done mod's anything that involves wiring , screws etc done incorrectly or with out looking to see what is behind where your screwing could cause weird stuff to happen.

Is this after you hit the key lock and unlock on the remote? There is a security feature for most vehicles now that do that. Is it right after you get out or just randomly?
