Mysterious unplugged wire under stereo?

A week ago I decided to install a car alarm and found a random unplugged wire after removing the plastic cover holding the 12v plugs. I can't seem to figure out where it goes and the car has definitely been tampered with before because I've noticed a few missing bolts around the center console area. If anyone has any clue where this mysterious plug goes please let me know, it's been in the back of my mind for the past few days. Thanks in advance. Pics below. Does your light come on for the ashtray? I was thinking 12v cigerette but that plug looks too small. Could be ashtray light.
