I have a 2005 DC LB. I recently was taking my dash apart to install a Ipad in my truck. I found some wires going to the middle A/C vent on the passenger side not connected to anything. Does anyone know what that wire is for?

First we need pics of the Ipad install.

Is it the wire for the passenger airbag switch?

There are a few double cabs around with the switch installed from the dealer. So it can be done on a DC. Not sure if anything other than the switch is needed though.

Where can you get the switch at to hook this up? And is it as simple as putting the switch in and hooking it up?

Are you going to be using it as an alternative to a double din unit with nav? If so what software are you using for nav?
