I'm having trouble with rodents chewing hoses and wires on my '07 V6 6-speed maual trans Tacoma. I discovered a couple of small rubber hoses above the transmission which have been so chewed up that I can't tell where they connect. There is a little "Y" connector and one hose has a braided cover on it. I can't see up there and have no idea what these hoses are for or where they are supposed to go. Any ideas?

    Pics would help

But they're probably the vent hoses (vent to atmosphere) for the transmission and transfer case

I could post a picture but it wouldn't show anything helpful - just chewed-up hoses hanging down beside the transmission. I thought they might be vent hoses. Everything seems to be working OK, in spite of the loss of these hoses. Anybody know where they connect?
