Hey does anyone know who makes this socket rail? My grandfather just gave this to me and I’m curious if there is somewhere I can buy more of. The unique trait of this rail is the press to release. Sockets are great neck if that helps. Thank you in advanced. [IMG]

Star or Torx bits. Had to buy some like 30 yrs ago to get the Ford calipers off.

Never seen a rail like that, now I’m curious. Any markings on the rail or sockets themselves that might give a clue?

Edit: nevermind: “Great Neck” is visible on the bits. Do you know if those bits originally came on that rail?

Looks like it was a design that only came on older versions of Great Necks socket sets. Found these on eBay:

Found a company called Jetech on Amazon that still uses the design for their sets as well, but nothing for the rails without sockets.

Jetech 13PCS 3/8 Inch Drive Standard Impact Socket Set, Made with Cold-Forged, Heat-Treated Chrome Molybdenum Alloy Steel, 6-Point Design, Metric Size Includes from 7mm to 19mm with Steel Holder Rail https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081PLFJ8D
