Please help! 2004 prerunner 2.7 Mostly stock, Bilistein socks & struts 1 year old.
Vibration when breaking and slight vibration at highway speeds. I've replaced the following:
Brakes, Rotors (twice) & drums all the way around. (Last month)
Caliper on side vibration appears to come from.
And today, Rack bushing kit (I had significant play) and new inner and outer tie rods.

    Still Vibrating ! ! !

I'm just about to the point of taking it somewhere.
    Please help!

    ...too much shit to list.
Have you balanced your tires? If you're getting vibs while moving and amplified with braking, it's normally tires.
To add to it, find someone that does a road force balance. Worth the money.

    And welcome to TW!

    Tires balance recently, still Vib.
I crawled under her again last night after I isolated the problem to the rear by trying the E brake truck. I found significant play in the carrier bearing. Would this cause vibration when breaking? ?

I've had vibration issues in my 01 DC Tacoma. It turned out to be the carrier. I replaced the carrier and the vibrations were significantly reduced however not gone completely. It took shimming the Carrier to bring it down about 1/8" before it resolved the vibration issue completely. My truck had been raised with blocks in the rear at one point with 2 or 3 degree shims which i removed to replace with springs that gave me the proper ride height. That couple degree difference was enough to drive me crazy with the ultra low tone and feel from the vibration. The vibration while braking wasn't an issue in my case, however...
