You can "trick" the truck into thinking there is load in the bed as I mentioned previously. Weight in the bed would close the gap between the axle and bed, so if you disconnect that arm, and push it all the way up, that should be as open as the proportioning valve will be.

Also, cause you've mentioned rolling around in the dirt / carpet, etc.. Drop the spare tire to give yourself some sitting room.

I’m in process of deleting the LSVP
I’m 95% sure the taco is stopping with 100% front brake bias
    My LSVP is shot
My thread is out there somewhere
I’m $50 in for a manual porportion valve and fittings

Other members pointed out on my thread much more ‘economica’ ways to bypass the LSVP
I found out once the $50 of parts arrived
    Lemme find thread……

    If time is a factor,
    I recommend what Andy01 saying
‘Trick the LSVP’ by forcing lever with zip ties/bracket/whatever

You can just get an aftermarket replacement valve for well under $50 bucks and not deal with removing the brake tube, AND retain the intended function of the valve.

And in OP's case, I would not suggest adding more variables to the mix. Solve the issue, don't create new ones.

Take your lpsv off and put it in a vise, take it apart, gingerly, clean all parts clean as you can get internally, put it back together and install. Very simple, then see if you get fluid.
Mine was filthy, works fine now.
