I installed my N-Fab Light Bar and installed my 4 XL Pro's from Baja Designs. Also installed VLED,s amber/White switchbacks, replaced my map & dome lights with LED,s from VLED. also took off my stock mud flaps and replaced them with Husky Flaps. I than replaced my stock plastic doors that are in the bed with the lockable metal doors from Motown Offroad. Here are some picts.

Really nice ! I can't decide on which light bar I want or a bull bar with lights mounted. I currently live in area where I'm concerned about theft in a mall parking lot. How easy is it to remove that light bar you think ?

I installed my n fab light bar today too. I would say stealing the bar would be a huge pain in the neck. Taking lights from off the bar, not hard.

I agree, they would have to really make an effort to steal the light bar of my truck. As for the lights, I purchased the security hardware from Baja Designs when I bought the lights just to be on the safe side.

N-Fab light bar is really well made and would not be the easiest thing to take off and steal

Not the best pics but here is mine. The bar would not be worth the effort to steal it but who knows. I would think that copper wire in street light poles would not be worth it either.

When I installed my lights, I wanted to use some switches I got from Air On Board to go in the center under the A/C controls replacing to 2 blank covers, but I failed to read the instructions that came with the switches until the day of my install of the lights. I did not know I needed to add a 1 amp diode inline, so my temp fix was to cut most of the plastic off the back of the covers, drill a hole in the blank covers for now and installed a lighted toggle switch that came with my XL Pro lights. So now I have a 1 amp diode for my Air On Board switch and going to swap out the switches this weekend. So when I originally removed my blank switch cover, there was a harness installed in the back of each blank cover which I am assuming is for heated seats, which I do not have. can I use one of the wires for the heated seats to illuminate my Air On Board switch when my lights are on? If so, does anyone know which color wire in that heated seat harness to tap off of?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

A diode for what? I have air onboard switches and did not use a diode. Also, you can use the seat heater wires for an illumination. I want to say it was a blue with yellow or white stripe. Just get a multimeter and check the wires, as there are only 3 if I remember.

One note on the air on board switches, the illumination works opposite of the lighting in our truck. I keep mine set midway, so it doesn't bother me, as it is bright enough.

Still curious on the diode if you have the schematic and can take a pic.

I will get some pics of my switches later if you need to see them.

One other note, which switches do you have, the one below the AC controls, or to the left of the steering wheel?

I am installing them in the center below the a/c controls.

Here the instructions that came with my switches and I diagram 2 is the on that applies to my truck, I was aware of the illumination working backwards. Diagram 2 says to install a 1 amp diode inline.

I do not remember how many wires were in the harness that was behind the switch blanks for the heated seats. Do you mind giving me some instructions on how I would find the correct wire for the illumination

Just take a multimeter, and set it to DC volts, touch the black lead to a ground point in the vehicle, then take the red lead and a paperclip, and go from each connection on the seat heater plug. Make sure your lights are on. Once you find one with 12 volts, then turn the light off and if it goes to 0 volts you found it. Otherwise, it is the constant 12V supply, so you need to test another connection in the connector. Hope that makes sense. Well, I didn't even notice the diode in my instructions. I will go check that out and if I need one, I will add it. As of now, everything works on mine.

Looks like I am going to be adding a diode. It is needed because of the back emf caused by the coil which can reach 200 volts.

    Never enough
The diode only allows for the electricity to flow in one direction.

Thanks for instructions, just what I needed. Yea, I am adding the diode to. I got one from Waytek along with a inline holder. My weekend project

Did you have to order a minimum qty? If so, can I buy a set? or half and split the costs?
