I'm going with this NFAB mount option because I made a mess of mounting a lightbar in the lower grill, and all of my cuts were a complete joke. Wish I took that part off the grill before I made my cuts, to be honest. How VISIBLE is the area back there anyways, once with the lightbar and mount completed? Would someone have to get on their hands and knees, and in complete sunlight to see back there? I basically cut that whole area out of there....

Got any pics of what you're referring to? Any way to avoid this? I think the front body panels are crooked for sure, had issues mounting a lower grill mount too. One side was way off.

    Also, pics of this?

I have a one-row slim light bar I was going to use for this, rather than pulling the trigger for a dual/quad row lightbar. Confirm there's several different points (maybe 3) on the NFAB bracket (the free ones they send out) so you can set the level on how high you want the lightbar mounted?

Ok, that's what I thought you were talking about. "Tubular" sorta threw me for a minute. So it sounds like these screws are the last thing to be drilled in then?

ok Bro, these are freaking excellent shots!!!!!!!! Now I get the idea!!! So what I thought were two long slots in that mounting bar that goes through the lower grill are actually just a bunch of holes used for different distances front to back! Way cool! Now I see exactly where you had to cut that lower grill center rib. Perfect.

I also see how the bracket attaches to the vertical member of the radiator support sub-frame and the aluminum crash bumper sub-structure. Man, this is like I am there looking in!!! Perfect Doug, thank you so much!!!

As soon as I get home I am ordering this biatch!

    Perfect F'n pictures! Nice! :taco:

yes there is slots all the way across the back of the bracket so you can mount individual lights also like one guy did in our photos. and yes, you'll have to repaint them at some point

    Doug,
Oh, Love the Press To Turn On Something switch! One of my favorites!!!! I haven't made up my mind if I will ultimately wire both to one switch or go with two. The switches that come with the light bars are ok, but you know we need to mod shit. I have one blank and this will most likely be the end of my lighting mods for a while so I could wire them both to one CH4x4. If so I will pay the $30 bucks to have them make me a custom switch with both lights shown. If I feel like I can just attach the brake controller to the dash panel down by my right knee with heavy duty velcro how I had it in my Tundra, and I feel like I will have more lights, I will just buy a Meso switch panel for that cubby area.

Thanks for all your help! I really appreciate it!
    Rob

yes, you actually take the bolts out that hold the bumper on and the main bracket gets put there and the bolt go back in. also with the light I chose, with the bracket all the way out. the back of the light barley cleared the front of the truck, so I notched there L brackets little more than they even had it.

Thanks for the offer. Let me see where this takes me first. It is tempting though. I see you made your blank into the garage door opener mod. I have thought about doing that myself. So many mods, so little time. I still have an extra set of door badges and all the supplies to paint them and the chrome tip just waiting to be done. I also want to take that left roof rack rail back off and check the tab insert connection. I feel like there is a some play in that and the roof mounted led bar I have mounts to brackets that are riveted to that. That has to be 100% before I can mount that 42" bar up there.

Woul any of you be able to tell me how far this stock out past the truck? Want to see if it’ll still fit in my tight little garage

Couldn't you reverse sides on these brackets so they wouldn't show where they bolt to the bumper light bar? What I mean is that they would tuck under the light.

I just think it would look a little cleaner, maybe I'm missing something....
