N fab nerf bars !

Just wondering if anybody else out there just recently bought
The n fab nerf bars ?

Just got mine and the paint finish on the was pretty bad !
Had four bare metal patches on the bottom of them size of A quarter , they were
In the exact same place on both of them , just wondering if these might be from something holding them to be painted or if I got a bad set !
Also had a long ugly spot that looks like it wasn't sanded properly before being painted !

Just wondering how anybody else's showed up

Have you contacted the vendor with these pictures?

 

Yes wrote them an email and attached the same pics !
Hopefully hear something back next week .
But just wanted to see if anyone else had any issues with there's as well

 

mine had similar defects. i was told its zinc slag leftover and not to be concerned. i sent emails bnack n forth because like you, i had it in 4 identical spots. luckily its in an area on mine you cant see them once mounted

 

Talked to n fab today they are sending me out a new set of nerf bars !!

 

Awesome. It's nice to see a company with good customer service. I received mine in good condition. I wonder if something was sitting on them during transport. But then again, I remember mine being wrapped up pretty tight with tons of bubble wrap. Either way, glad to see your getting a new set.

Nothing rubbing , those things were packed together very tightly and bubble wrapped i would say they were shipped like that
But yeah. Good customer service

 

I bought same ones for my truck and they weren't like that from the factory but it took about 6 months for some of the paint to start chipping off.

 

Notorious for a poorly finished product

 

Yeah i figure id hopefully get a year out of them with the paint finish , then i will just get them sprayed with the linex or the rhino liner when they start looking like crap
