Looking for thoughts/recommendations regarding which is the better choice, N-FAB or Rough Country nerf bars.
    Two things are important:
    1. Bar tucks up close to the truck.
    2. Step is useful but doesn't drop down or stick out too far.
Any comments on the pros/cons of either appreciated.
    Thank you!

I like the N-Fabs however I don’t do any hardcore wheeling. The main tube sits high and tight.CF9A8350-7656-4497-81FC-302F1F5F58FC.jpgA81918D9-6EFC-4775-AFEF-3990B51E106B.jpg

Neither do I. Although I really like the look of rock sliders and certainly more functional than nerf bars, I don't need them and the money is spent better on other things.
You have a nice looking truck! Thank you for the feedback and the pictures. Much better view than on the N-FAB website.

N-Fabs come (or did) in 2 different diameters. Green above and my Tacoma have the larger diameter 3". Most people have the factory ones which are skinnier

They still have the two diameters. I'm looking at the 3".

They sent me the 2 1/2 inch by mistake and I had to send them back. The 3 inch are much better looking.
