    Okay keep me correct was oy the army air corps or was it the air force om WW II? Believe it or not in army aviation we wear WW II army air corps brass on our uniforms to commemorate the old Army Air Corps. Many people are not aware of when the U.S. Air Force came into being. (Smile)I'm old but not so old that I remember that...LOL. Just trying to give the army credit where credit was due since my history taught me the air force didn't come into being until around 1948 if memory serves me correctly...

    Believe me, I'm not wishing for war. I've been back and forth 9 times each to the sandbox since Sep 2001. My wife and 2 kids endured the hardship just like everybody else that served and currently serves. But you can only poke someone so much without getting stomped. Trade for 6-month deployments? My last deployment was for 13 months. You stuff your mouth with them KBR sandwiches because I'm sick and tired of it.
