So I'm an iOS user, and I don't see myself ever getting away from it.

    BUT

I recently acquired a T-Mobile Mytouch 4g phone from my mom (bought her an iPhone 5s for her birthday), and now I want to learn how to root the darn thing. The only information I have found is on the xda forums, but they don't seem to speak in laymans terms most of the time.

Does anyone here know how to root this thing, and is patient enough to help? I'm hoping to upgrade the Android OS and get rid of the bloatware that came from TMobile. Teaching me is like teaching a monkey. :D
