Just make sure that each time you zoom in or out to give it a second or two for the colored coverage overlay to set in. You’d be selecting 3G, and “Data” for coverage info on the left.

Great question! Glad someone finally asked! Part of the pro about this unit is that it’s completely transferable to your next vehicle or sellable. Great for lease returns too! Take it off/back as quickly as you installed it! To transfer (or sell) the remote starter unit to a different make and model, you would need to get the plug ‘n’ play harness for it, prices range from $50-$90 depending on vehicle. Then you or the new owner would just need the USB PC communication cable with the software to reflash for the new vehicle. About $50 for that. You spend on average $100 or less to re do the setup all over again instead of spending $200-$300 for the remote starter from scratch. I can source harnesses for you, or you can do it yourself. That’s what sets me apart from my next biggest competitor, won’t say their name but because they make their own harnesses for brands that don’t have plug n play otherwise, and don’t sell them separately, they lock you into have no choice to but to do it all over again or be forced to find someone with the same exact generation as your vehicle to sell/transfer or to. I can reflash the unit for you provided a plug n play harness exists for the next vehicle make/model for $30 that includes free shipping both ways since it’s rare you’ll need to have software to do this often so you save a little there.

As far as the smart module the picture below pretty much sums up how easy it is to transfer as well to the next user of you are selling it or giving it to someone (nothing more needed than the next users email, no cables no nothing).
And if it’s for your next vehicle, you just saved another $159 if you were to get it from me, $199 if it were a competitor. Not bad. Beauty of plug ‘n’ play!

Currently sourcing all parts to make the install seem less and easy for our MT buddies, as well as polishing up an install guide and testing the smart module with it. Pushing hard to release at the same time as everyone else when restocked.

Get excited. No one has done a clean DIY kit for MT in the nation like I have and especially not at the regular everyday low price nor sale price you guys will see and get when prices are released next week just before Black Friday. Another update for my MT guys, I have managed to create a plug n play interface for the necessary provided relay kit, you will not require anything. No crimps, connectors, spade terminal, taps or anything needed. This allows my kit to be able to be easily installed by the most novice to the very experienced by following an easy install guide. Fool proof too. Don’t try to prove me wrong, please because you’ll have to try very hard.

I’ve also made the TPMS interface with the wire on your harness after cutting very easy without anything extra necessary. My first group of guys managed but this is evolution of easy. There is no longer a need for me to speak or vette your capability of install. You are all now capable of you own a manual.

Toyota owns 16% of Fuji heavy industries who make Subaru.. There's been an increase of collaborative / platform / part sharing between Toyota and Subaru.

 

Certainly noticed in parking lots, “My” toyota lock unlock sound is the same as the Subaru next to me

Camry's used to be built in Subaru's plant and I think the corolla is still being built in a Subaru plant.. if i'm not mistaken the Imprezza (not WRX) shares a lot of components with Corolla

there's the little things too.. how the Subaru RF tweeters are a drop in upgrade for the Tacoma's... fun stuff

To be fair camrys were only built in a Subaru plant because our Georgetown plant couldn’t build enough camrys so they had to partner with them lol (not hating or starting anything, just sharing a fact)
