How about using it if you have a tonneau cover to act as a sage where you can leave your belongings out of site including your keys during a hike? Good for those that don’t have a pop n lock, If you have pop n lock put a toggle/rocker switch in line with one of the legs and hide it to act as a kill switch so that if they do get into the main cabin, the power door locks DONT unlock the tailgate. Just make sure to check that it’s locked before you hit that hidden rocker and use your key during said use. Boom...you just created a locker room/safe out of your truck bed.

Or how about when keeping tabs on your teenage kids?

Or a loved one during an emergency or dead cellphone?

How about your lady who said she’s going over to her friends house but ends up at the strip club?

The possibilities are endless my friends!

Thanks for the kind words...and you haven't even bought yet. Now this is what I’m talking about but guess what, you haven’t even seen N2 customer service yet. I’ve been known to do tech support during funerals of distant folks. They’re not going anywhere, but my customers still can. I was on the phones fighting to return the Verizon CDMA garbage to get the 3G hardware while my wife was in the labor and delivery ward. Needless to say she caught on after I had to step out to relieve myself one too many times and chose to use the “lobby restrooms” down stairs even though there was one in her room, and one on the same floor...

 

Haha well technically I’ve bought, money came out already lol but I can’t wait to get it in!

Exactly, I figure peace of mind down and rolling out of bed and just remote start from my phone knowing it’s running vs keeping my keys by my bedside and clicking in hopes it started.

My reason exactly. My phone is on me more than my FOB. Since my phone app, I’ve never used my FOB other than to show it off. Plus I’m that guy that can’t remembered if I locked my car up or not, all the time. In bed when it’s cold, it’s great! Even better when I realized I’ve gone out of state on vacation and truly forgot to lock that crap! I’ve also used it as an “Amazon locker” instead of giving access to my home to a friend or relative to pick something up or drop something off, I tell them to call me when they get to my car and I’ll take care of the rest!

 

The verdict is in: you all chose 4G. With that said, if they come in (they slowly have, and a small portion is headed my way) then you will receive your stuff in one package before Christmas (for those with smart module purchases).

If you purchased anything else, shipping STARTS second week of December.

I’ve made Priority USPS (2-3 days) the N2 Designs standard for all. Costs more but you guys deserve it for being patient. That’s why I ask to group them in a single shipment instead of packaging twice, printing two labels and you opening up your vehicle once and bang it all out. In appreciations, you guys got heavily (nearly cost) discounts on the items, hence why paying $12-$16 twice is not leaving much in the room for profit aside from overhead costs. That was the trade off - patience for the best product, lowest cost, and most of all tested in house on actual Tacoma’s prior to ship! Due to the high volume on this last sale, it’s fair to say lead time patience is the trade off I request in return for what I’m providing. Now, with that said, I will cover free shipping for any two part shipment I need to do, the stipulation is if any of the smarts go past Christmas, I won’t make you wait, you’ll be getting your remote starter first so that you at least have that.

If any of this is an issue, I stress it now, please ask me for a refund immediately. I don’t hold your funds hostage. However, good luck with getting anything close to the price I gave you. I won’t re-honor tap outs. I aim to please but I don’t play games, I’m very honest, transparent and upfront with how I conduct my business. If for any reason you are not happy, contact me and give me a chance to change that. I have not one unhappy customer from this forum. People will attest to how far I’ll go to make you happy. Thanks guys...I’m impatient, so much so that I can’t wait to get them in your hands, I’m really excited for you all, especially after each successful install, it brings a tear to my eyes like seeing one my kids off to college, but everything needs to be perfect so that I’m not doing tech support all day on a Sunday during my son’s baptism and after party at our home. I’m still sleeping on the couch since then. Not because I’m in the dog house but because my newborn infant seems to be really thirsty at night for some reason..He needs to get his act together because daddy needs to focus on perfection! 2 months old is an excuse. Age is just a number they say... unless you’re in diapers, then no, it’s more than a number, it’s a thorn in your side!
