    ***Update***

FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABOUT OR ALREADY RECEIVED THE MANUAL KIT - TO MAKE IT REMOTE START AFTER ITS BEEN INSTALLED AND EACH TIME THEREAFTER:

    Don't forget:
    • Vehicle must be put into "Ready (Reservation) Mode" by Putting foot on Brake pedal, Shifter into Neutral, E-Brake up, Foot off Brake pedal, Turn ignition off, open the door, exit the vehicle, close the door and lock. Opening up any door after this will take the vehicle out of ready mode. It is normal for the vehicle to run for a minute or two after this as been done, this is how you know it's ready for your next remote start.

In the series, when you open the drivers door, can you then open the rear door, retrieve whatever, shut the rear door, then the driver door without interrupting ready position?

Yes. However, if retrieving is more than 10 or 15 minutes (I forget), you've gotta do that dance all over. So no need to pop into ready mode while retrieving for a while, just do your unloading, then jump back in and set it up when unloading is done, everyone is out, and gone so there is no pressure or rush.

Got this thing installed in about 15 minutes tops. I forgot I didn't need to pop out the cubby portion and ended up snapping some of the clips... Oh well, I guess I'm going to replace it sooner than later. Super happy with it already, even though I have yet to use it (besides testing it).

while it was not a hard install, it lacks some direction. the crappy original factory instructions that have sections x out or circled.. and while I am not a complete noob to working on vehicles, this is my first Tacoma, and much newer than I have owned before. Yes the videos covered it, but why should I have to go to a 3rd party to find out how to install your product? the directions can be made much better, especially since you test each one. it would be a simple matter of taking some good clear photos of the install and writing up a couple of pages of simple directions. Also some labeling on the smaller connectors would be nice, yes the A and B cable where marked nicely, but do the same for the smaller ones, simplest way would be a color coded dot on the harness and the module body. But I went on the past experience and assume by the looks of the module that there was only one correct way of installing each of the needed connections. minus the one you crossed off on the original instructions.

but other than that and plugging the one cable in before holding the programming button down.. and a bit of unclear wording on waiting for the programming(although it was fairly easy to take a educated guess on when to let off the programming button.) the programming went smooth an as expected.

but no, it is not a 10 minute install from start to finish, least I would say not for most people. from the time I got home to the time I had everything button up back up was probably about 45 minutes. better directions, and I would bet this would be 15 to 20 minutes start to finish.

Minor tweaks to your product, and you will have something that goes beyond outstanding, DO NOT SETTLE for it as is... not when it will be a easy to make it better.

Great job on bundling the harness, and making it look neat. it is this work you do that makes this simple to install. and it is something that should not scare off someone from doing either. 3 10mm bolts, 2 Phillips head screws, and a twist nut, and popping off a few pieces of trim, take your time, do not force it, steady pressure and it will come loose. same with putting back together, line up the tabs steady pressure, and it will go back together. maybe a little harder pop in a few spots just make to look and make sure everything is lined up.. and it will be like it never was off.

oohh save the twist tie... it comes handy to tie up the portion of the harness that plugs in under steering column. and do not forget to route that part behind the bracket..

Throw a couple extra business cards in as well, because people will be asking about this and where to get it...

Thank you for the honest feedback. I take it all very seriously and when I hear similar sentiments echoed, I do make the necessary changes. So far you’re the first and only from the hundreds sold, so either everyone is being polite or not saying anything. Regardless, feedback is how we evolve from great to superior! If you read through the thread, I’ve taken feedback and made the necessary adjustment to be able to aim for perfection! Your business is appreciated. Nonetheless, I am glad you got it going and without needing to call me which does still say a lot. So far no one has, so I think I did alright. However, noted and will revisit some of your suggestions as I do not disagree with all of them. Thank you!

Thank you! I strive for perfection and to please. I really value people because they have other choices but decided on my products. That’s a very humbling feeling I tell ya and the driving motivation to be the best and do things that the competition doesnt do in a competitive market in order to stand out. As grueling as it is, the praises one gets on here just makes it ALL WORTH IT! It really does make me happy to see you guys enjoying the product, posting the videos out of excitement, and saying such kind things about me, N2 and the product itself.

That’s why I say this to everyone who purchases from me, if there is anything that you’re iffy about, or unhappy about, I want the opportunity to make it right by you (even if I don’t agree, I normally won’t tell you; as long as you’re logical, reasonable, understanding, patient and respectful) then I’ll normally do what I can within reason to resolve your grievance. No ones perfect and neither am I, but I’m not a closed eared, closed minded type of guy. I’ll take care of you however I need to...just don’t request anyrhing kinky, I’m happily married haha!

Vendors like you are why we stay and keep coming back. You should look into decals for your products. That we can show who it is that we are supporting.

To piggyback off of what pyrotech said, the instructions aren't the clearest, and it would make it much better to have a specific set of instructions for each vehicle. That being said, when I have time, I could make a detailed instruction set for the push to start AT models if that would help.

Not gonna lie, A video like the one posted earlier for the install would be super helpful with the manual version.
