Just installed mine after dragging my feet for way too long and it’s been -20 at night. Will be nice to go out to a toasty truck tomorrow morning.
That TPMS wire was a real pain in the ass though.

 

Question for anyone that can offer quick advice.. I just switched from IOS to Pixel 3 after 10 years.. Yes, I'm expecting a from some of you. I'm liking it so far. I just downloaded the CL6 app.. Is just as easy to login and restore the settings since it's cloud based or do I need to re-register?

Last week I had the opportunity to finally have remote start for my 2018 Sport manual and what a nice treat is here in these cold Canadian winters! cannot thank jimmy enough, he went above and beyond and i can honestly say it was the best customer service I have ever had. Unfortunately for me the first unit he sent to me did not work. I emailed him, and very quickly got a reply with his personal cell phone number to call him. He sent me a new unit with faster shipping and even payed for the extra import duty tax. second one worked with and a slight modification which jimmy helped explain to do over the phone. Great experience and great price! thanks again jimmy!

Patience with customers is key. Luckily I have a lot of it, just wish there was an equal amount of time per day to appropriate it.

You just have to roll with me, and give me the equal amount of patience and I guarantee whatever frustration or struggles you may have had, will be a distant memory in the future when you're enjoying your hardware!

 

The easier way, they are now sent out with one wire on each side. Little hack a member did that works great.

Anyone having problems with the cellular app? Or do I need to check my connections again?

 

Nope, they may be in the middle of testing stuff. Sign out, kill the app and sign back in. If not, change your protcol to ADS by holding the white space just after the "n" in Fortin for a few seconds. You'll get a pop up that says "WARNING, you're about to change the protocol...." click yes/ok/confirm whatever....and that will reboot the device. Try out ADS. It doesn't give you the timer feedback and I think only let's you start the vehicle once, but you'll do the same and go back to Fortin protocol.

I just saw this.. Sometimes I get email notifications about updates to the forum threads and sometimes I don't.. I'm still having exact same issues with the CL6 app on the Pixel 3 as I did with the IOS. Is there anything any of us can do to help figure this out? Is there a pigtail harness that we can plug in between the 4G module and fortin module to intercept the communication between both with debug mode enabled? I know it's not as simple as I may make it sound.. Just trying to figure out how we can resolve this..

 

Proprietary communication protocol. You’re such a programmer/coder man...you’re trying to sniff out the issue but I don’t think it’s going to be that easy. Hang tight let me see what we can find...if not I’ll talk about the back up plan with you and try that route. As this has not affected everyone, from my guys, less than a handful that’s why they’re trying to figure it out but I’m not giving them more than a week at this point so PM me a week from now.
