N2 Designs 2016-2022 Tacoma 3x OEM FOB Plug n Play Remote Starter Kit (AT & MT) + Smart Module

Hey Jimmy, hope you can help with this one. Mobile app was working great but now there's no signal. I realized that my phone updated right around the same time shown under last GPS location time. I'm on Android. I've tried closing the app, logging in again, and even a uninstall and reinstall. Do you have any other suggestions?

EDIT: I think this issue is related to cellular signal. I was in a more rural area when this occurred. What network is this running on? At the time I had LTE coverage on my cell phone.

Oops, sorry! not sure how I missed that...I'm religious about checking EVERYTHING here and making sure everyone's responded...this would be the first time! Sorry!

I've submitted the extensions a few weeks ago, they take time to review it, but I will be following up to make sure everyone gets it. AND YOU WILL GET IT. What's the last 6 of your 16 digit serial? I want to make sure you were in there. You can PM me your full name and those digits.

 

After talking with Jimmy on the phone today, I think i want to order the smart phone add on as well. I love being able to have my windows cleared in the cool mornings, and the inside of the truck nice and cold after a long day of work. Having to restart the truck is not an issue at all being that starters are made so much better these days.

The smart phone module is super! I especially like being able to check if my doors are locked from wherever I am when I happen to think about whether or not I locked them!

Jimmy and N2Designs just installed the push button start key fob and mobile add on. This setup is awesome and super easy to use! In addition to its normal use I am going to use it when camping to start the car from my rooftop tent to charge the batteries for my night led glow lights for the truck.

Great customer service! Above and beyond.

Hey @N2DesignsInc I have a question. My remote start is acting a little glitchy. Not sure if it's a defect or the whole module just needs a reset. Is there a way to reset the module?I was one of the first people who bought your product in the beginning so I've had it for a while, but the issue has been ongoing for about 3 months maybe more.

My problem is that I sometimes have a lot of trouble remote starting my truck. I sometimes have to press the lock button 4 or 5 times instead of 3 to get it working. Even then it sometimes doesnt even start. Also noticed that I when I do press it 3 times it wont register the 3 clicks if it was done fast or slow.

 

Your rhythm is off. Practice. Get me on the phone and I'll guide you. There is nothing wrong with the unit if it works. It's not glitchy. It either works or doesn't. I PM'd you my personal cell, feel free to text me if I don't pick up. You pressing it 4 or 5 times working is because 3 consecutive presses somewhere in there ARE good.

 

Lock- pause-lock -pause-lock. 1/2 sec pauses.
