    Just finished installing my N2 remote start with the cellular module. Followed the TacomaBeast YouTube video;

    https://youtu.be/zVQYlQRu-gs

The whole process took about 45 minutes and the hardest part was getting the trim panel down by my left foot snapped back in place. Lol

Everything worked first time. Very happy!

Delete it. Download “LinkR LT”. Put my number in the retailer info section (833) 689-6462. To get there press on the arrow at the bottom of your command screen, (where GPS is found) then click on the icon on the right. Then if it doesn’t prompt you, to change it tap on the LinkR logo at the top 5 times and then put my number in.

You have my cell, text or call me, I take care of people better than anyone and I know more than the factory does on this tech. I’ve helped them solve issues put it that way. Secondly I have “my guys” that will take care of ANYTHING I need there so always run it through me first. I sold it to you so it’s MY responsibility to take care of you. And I WILL. With that said, I’ll PM you my cell again in case you lost it and you can text or call me Rob with what the issue seems to be. I don’t want one frustrated customer. Haven’t had one that I haven’t been able to change back to satisfied and happy. You’re no exception brother. Let me fix whatever is buggin you by any means necessary, ok?

You are a unicorn! Mateo skipped a crucial step in the smart app portion of this video and I get support calls all the time because of it...glad to hear you’re good though!

I only followed his video for the hardware install. I followed your sheet for the app. Lucky I guess!

Just got done installing remote start for my SR Utility with a standard key. Took about an hour, works fantastic. Kudus to N2 for pointing me in the right direction with a few video links.

Now you don't need to keep locking and unlocking your doors with a key in the key whole like the 1980's...can't believe Bluetooth and reverse camera are standard but fobs aren't nowadays...who does that?!? Well we fixed that problem for you guys AND gave you remote start with it. By they way have you unlocked the secret feature we gave you? Remote Hazard lights...yup, try it.

Thanks Jimmy! @N2DesignsInc. He took the time to help me install the remote starter and app on my 2019 taco this weekend. I work 6 nights a week 12hr shifts so my schedule is tight and Jimmy was more than willing to help me at my convenience.
I’m now loving the ability to start my ride from my phone!
    100% satisfied customer here!
    Thanks!

Hey Jimmy, I found a video online that showed how to turn them on. Hold the lock function till they come on? I tried that and it didn't work. I cycled the lock, unlock function several times and it still didn't work. Am I missing something? Not a big deal if it doesn't work, I wouldn't of known about it if you hadn't mentioned it. The lights do flash when I lock(once) and unlock(three) times.

There is a cheat sheet i included in your kit for you, do the “panic” function. Let me know. If you need the button presses for this I can get them later on for ya when I’m back in the office later today as I’m on the road currently.

Is there a place where I am supposed to see messages or events when I see a number on the icon? I don’t see anything in the app so what am I missing? Thanks.

Nope..the app doesn't really have any notifications. Go to your PHONE's app settings and disable notifications for LinkR there. You won't be missing out on anything.

Tired of having to be within 20 feet of my truck to remote start it. Bought the N2 remote start a while back and considering upgrading to the smart phone module pretty soon.

Down to a handful they keep flying off the shelf, just placed another mass order for more. We won't be back ordered, but just a testament that after running some reports, 8 out of 10 customers return for it if they didn't buy it at first. It's crazy! You'll never remote start with your fob again once you have this smart module. You won't regret it!

Interested in getting both the remote start and smart phone module for a 2018 TRD Off Road automatic. I just need some clarification on the install. I watched both Tacomabeast and Rob Damans install videos. On Robs video he had to cut a wire for the TPMS, but on Tacomabeast video he didnt, it was all plug and play. So would I need to cut any wires for my install? Or is cutting the TPMS wire only for the manual trucks? Thanks in advance.

Edit: NVM did some more research and found out that I will not have to cut any wires if I have the automatic.

PM'd you also, thanks for the order! The TPMS deal is only for HKEY (Auto & Manual, but not base SR standard key typically), based on your order, it appears you have a push to start ignition, 100% plug n play. Nothing to cut. Best seller kit, and quickest install of all makes, models, and years of any vehicle currently on the market from what we've seen, sold and installed so far!

Word to the wise, follow our install videos and guides. Tacomabeast skipped an important step in his smart module video if I recall correctly, and Rob's got manual.

Hey has anyone else received Alarm Detected notifications after installing the system?
