    February 5th, 2020 UPDATE:

    NOW AVAILABLE:

    2020 Tacoma Push to Start

2/11/20 - Update to below statement: In our haste to release, we discovered that the original method of a simple fuse removal in lieu of a one wire snip at the passenger kick panel resulted in an easy 16 to 19-like install, but also took out your hands-free and Bluetooth functionality which is unacceptable. We all need hands-free. Its a safety feature that circumvents any remote start on this planet, ours or not. We apologize about this, and we will offer a full refund to anyone who may feel mislead due to our mistake. We did sell out on the first day, and as we are proud of that, we are not happy with how everything transpired. The kits were hours away from pick up when the discovery was made, so the packages were re-done with new instructions and harness swapped out in the nick of time. We are NOT in the market of bait n switch whatsoever, so if you are not satisfied, we'll make it right. That's a promise.

Below is not a valid statement posted 2/5/20, above statement (2/11/20) is the latest:
***Yes, you read correctly. 100% Plug n Play. Same ease of install as the 16-19. Took us a while because we were after a pleasant user/customer install experience. We could have released a long time ago, but then you would have had to cut one wire, on the passenger side, and run a portion of our harness to that snipped wire through your center console...this would have led to customer frustrations that would transcribe themselves as a reflection on our company name and as everyone knows, that's what we take the most serious above ANYTHING, including profit.

That 15-20 minute install everyone was used to became an hour to hour an a half because of that...well, not anymore. So beware, other kits may start to trickle into the market, but we wanted to be trendsetters by discovering better solutions to complex challenges. NO ONE has discovered how to do it OUR way...the 100% plug n play, no wire snip way. WE ARE THE FIRST, YET AGAIN!***

Amazing job Jimmy! I noticed on the 2020 we need to remove a fuse. Once the install and programming had been completed, we reinstall that fuse?

@N2DesignsInc I’m having an issue ordering. Trying to select the 2020 push button but appears to be unavailable. Out of stock maybe?

    Hi Logan!

Yes, sold out in 1 day since we announced. We're gearing up a bigger stock...check back in about a week. They went faster than we thought.

    Thanks,
    Jimmy

I'm a little confused, I got my 2020 kit yesterday and looking over the instructions it states that I have to run the wire over to the passenger side and to cut and splice the wire under the glovebox? I thought you guys found a better solution?

Last minute discovery, that previous solution takes out your hands-free and blue-tooth. The kits were literally all packaged up and out the door when the news came in. We quickly revised the instructions included, and swapped out the harnesses hours before the pick up so we did not get a chance to re-announce it. We did only kit a limited amount and have a hold/out of stock on them. So you can look at it as you are one of the lucky ones, however, we do apologize, and will gladly accept it back if you're not up to it.

Alright, fair enough, but you might want to edit your post above about it being truly plug and play. Many will go with your solution to circumvent having to do the wire splice only to learn it's the same as other cheaper solutions.

You are absolutely correct, noted and your feedback is highly appreciated!

However, the other option you speak of is not an authorized dealer. We're the only authorized dealer currently we know of offering this solution with warranty and support backed by the factory. Feel free to PM me whom your speaking of privately if it is someone OTHER than the Amazon seller I think you're eluding to.

    Hey Jimmy,
I attempted the fuse method earlier today and did run into an issue during the programming part. I would only get a red then yellow light. Then it would alternate between the two. I'm glad I saw the updated information. I'm assuming that because I didn't do the splice, the programming didn't work correctly. I'm going to redo it all tomorrow morning with the splice.

I’m confused now, which is not difficult.... Is it plug & play or is there splicing involved? Mine has shipped....

I don't think you're holding down the button long enough to get to the solid blue...

Edit: Yes you were after we spoke on the phone. Replacement has shipped.

Just got my smartphone module in the mail and have my dash apart trying to program it to my remote starter. The instructions state that I need to plug in the valet button to program the device however I don't have a valet button nor was one provided in the kit. I don't get it, am I missing something? I have a Hkey setup.
