Can you take requests to program the module so the parking lights stay off after the truck starts?

bought this last week thursday? and came in on Monday, attempted install today, but I think something is screwed up on mine... wont program for fob start, I have tried multiple times...

push button unit with smartphone module

I hooked up the N2 harness, ignition intercept, and I held down the module button while plugging in the harnes, the lights cycle, and i release the button when it goes blue, I hook up the other 3 connectors to the module as in the videos.... push start button 2 times, the blue light comes back on, then I turn off the ignition with 1 press.. I close the door and attempt to lock the truck then try 3 presses on the FOB lock. I hear the truck beep 3 times. and nothing...

yes my doors and hood were closed/locked, yes my fob was in the drivers seat when programming... any help?

didnt even get to the cell module but did get the app installed and programmed the serial into it.

is there a reset? or do i need a new module?

Hey all, not sure if only certain parts of the US are affected by network issues, but just an FYI for those with the smart module, i've been having intermittent issues with my module not connecting (which never happens--even in a wide open parking lot) and it seems to be location specific, but i just got notification on the app today that they are aware of the issue and hopefully will have it resolved shortly. BTW, I'm in the midwest

got my issues taken care of Thanks N2- Jimmy... still issues with module connection, but was getting notifications via the app that they were experiencing network issues with the CL6 app. but it appears to be working now.

Just placed my order! Bought my truck brand new in January 2017 and recently got invited to park outside so my wife's "fun car" could take my spot in the garage. This morning I had to scrape my windows.... PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks N2!

Where is everybody hiding the smart phone module. I ran it up to the dash and it's sitting on top of the speaker. I'm wondering it it can be totally hidden in the a pillar?

We wouldn't like doing that because vehicle with it's lights on remote started in a public area at night like a busy parking lot (pre/post pandemic of course) is asking "look at me"....when someone notices no one is there...it can get nasty. We never want to draw attention to a running car with no one present to be honest for the safety of your property (and for those who do leave pets/children in the car with AC and engine running  are asking for it...Kidnappers, Hero Citizens breaking your glass as some stae law allows this now). We don't know who has kids, who doesn't, who does this, who doesn't and so on...so we opt to make it as safest as possible since worst case scenarios may present themselves head-on at anytime. If this helps one person avoid heartache...then it was all worth it.

@N2DesignsInc left message over phone but figured I’d reach out here as well. Got remote start with smart module. Remote start worked fine with fob but when hooked up smart module not only does nothing work by the app but can’t remote start with fob any longer either. Pretty sure I followed directions correct in terms of lights blinking and what not

After plugging in the smart module I had to wait about 5 minutes before programming. Wait for both lights to be solid on the smart module then try programming. It took me a couple tried until it worked.

Also make sure you got it plugged in right. Unplug the black 4 pin from the main module, plug the larger black plug from the main harness into the mating one from the smart module harness. When programming use the 4 pin from the smart module harness, not the original one.

I'll try to reach out tomorrow. We'll do a reset and I'll step you over the phone. PM me your name and number again here. Don't play with it further so we don't brick it.

I tried hooking my phone module up and made sure I had it hooked up correctly and it is. The green light won’t stop blinking. I even drove across town to see if that fixed it to get better reception. The red one stoped blinking for awhile then started blinking again after about 10 minutes. The remote start works perfectly just having trouble with the light on the phone module

Did my install today as well and had the exact same issue. GPS (red) connects, but data (green) won’t stop blinking. Were you able to figure out a solution? @N2DesignsInc, any suggestions? Thank you!

Thanks, exactly the same. Tried to reboot 2x, didn’t want to brick it, gave up / deferred to later, and drank another beer.
