    Just messin' around...

@N2DesignsInc proto video...so don't mind the dirty power and noise on my screen, part of it is also enhanced (made worse) when a video is recording a refreshing screen and refresh rates are different. I also still need to snip the wire for my front camera so the screen isn't flipped 180 deg. 2020 Tacomas will have this, but we've made it better in that our quad screen view is also recording all 4 cam angles onto a Micro SD card for live play back on scene when needed, or for later.

    6 channel input:
Front Cam - comes on automatically for 10 seconds when shifting to D, great for parallel parking.
Left Signal - Comes on automatically when signaling light
Right Signal - Comes on automatically when signaling right
Reverse Cam (3rd Party or OEM integrated) - still comes on when shifting into Reverse
Cargo Cam - (can use this channel for anything, I'm using it for under body)
Trailer Cam - (can use this channel for anything, I'm using it for the Quad View Display/DVR which can be set to Tri_view or even Bi View Display)
A/V Input - using this to mirror my iphone (i.e. Youtube, Netflix etc...not endorsed, gotta say that ;))

All inputs can be manually triggered by the "end call" button on your steering wheel by pressing it for 2 seconds, then tapping it to cycle through the views. Holding the "end call" again for 2 seconds puts you back into Entune. Your smartphone audio won't stop playing even if you're signaling or shifting to Drive/Reverse or even manually toggling through the inputs on your steering wheel when you connect the audio via Bluetooth while only the phone's video feeds into the system.

    Plug n Play

Side Cameras and Molded Trim kit replaces the black trim you have currently underneath of your side view mirrors.

EDIT (9/4/19): NO SD Card included. Uses Micro SD card, but will come with USB (PC Side) to Micro SD cardadapter to be able to pop into a PC. USB with a built in slot to stick the Micro SD card into, then pop the USB into your PC for offline viewing.

EDIT (9/4/19): DVR has a power input to constant battery and accessory/ignition input to record when you're parked and as soon as the vehicle starts. You can chose if you want DVR record while parked. Consumes 2W when running (0.16A) and 1W in standby mode (0.08A). When recording while parked, the DVR module will monitor your vehicles battery, it needs to see 12.5V to even start, and if the vehicle battery drops below 11.5V at some point for WHATEVER reason (borderline old/dying battery), it will pause until battery power is restored above that level as to not add any strain on a dying battery. Only runs when your battery is healthy while doing surveillance when the vehicle is parked. With the provided channels, max input channels on recorder is 4 channels that you pick which ones (any ones you choose) off your 6-channel plug in play base unit to split with included RCA Y splitter cables.

EDIT (9/4/19): DVR module comes with a microphone INPUT for audio recording for the above instances, or recording in cabin once vehicle starts (can be disabled), good for evidence against an officer (no more his word against yours). Your video goes along to support it as evidence in court, as well as post accident when the other party claims "not at fault" or "at fault" then goes back on their word, for insurance purposes. BUT WILL NOT INCLUDE MIC.

Recording different angles beats the dashcam tunnel front/rear angles as you pick up more environmental evidence with this kit such as traffic, traffic light colors at time of incident, who side swiped who (that's a hard one to prove without a witness). Not to mention, insurance discounting for having it (via providers that support this discount).

No GPS tracking/recording at this time.

Does not include any extra cameras aside from left/right. Additional Cameras purchased separately, will be offered.

Plug n Play Multi-cam w/ smart phone mirroring via Steering Wheel Control - WITH QUAD VIEW/NO DVR (Price TBD, Availability TBD, No Pre-orders, Special Made to Order, Estimated 7-10 business day turn around). Does not include any extra cameras aside from left/right. Additional Cameras purchased separately, will be offered.

Plug n Play Multi-cam w/ smart phone mirroring via Steering Wheel Control - WITH QUAD VIEW AND DVR (Price TBD, Availability TBD, No Pre-orders, Special Made to Order, Estimated 10-14 business day turn around). Does not include any extra cameras aside from left/right. Additional Cameras purchased separately, will be offered.

    - All kits will include trim and left/right blind spot cameras, and rear OEM Reverse Integration. 6-Channel input + 1 Mirroring input for smart phone.
    - Kits with Quad View, or Quad View/DVR (all-in one) will also include all interface RCA Cables to continue the Plug n Play aspect.
    - All kits will include left/right cameras and trim. Additional Cameras purchased separately, will be offered.

    Optional Accessories:
Additional Add-on cameras (i.e. Front grill mount, bullet style, etc...)
EDIT 9/4/19 - Not happening, you will have to get creative yourself.
Will discuss with Stew the potential to create an injection molded trim piece that can accommodate both his MESO puddle lights AND left/right camera holes for those who have, or want to get the best of both worlds.

    Required Accessories:
Adapter Cables required to interface your smart phone to an RCA cable (i.e. For an iphone, you would need a Lightning to HDMI adapter (sold by Apple), male/male HDMI coupler, and HDMI to RCA adapter cable for example). Not included, sold separately, not sold by N2 but we can provide guidance on where to source tested and proven products on say Amazon for example).

    Special Custom Requests:
During roll out, custom requests will be queued on resource availability to accommodate, but will be queued lower on the list and will add considerable turn around time. Probably easier and faster for you to conquer it yourself if you understand A/V. Lead time would be shorter, and will save you some $$$. Not all requests can or will be granted.

    ETA on release:
    - Plug n Play Multi-cam w/ smart phone mirroring via Steering Wheel Control - NO QUAD VIEW/NO DVR - NOW, Special Order. 5-7 Business Days if in stock at local warehouse. $420, shipped free, tax in CA only).

    - Plug n Play Multi-cam w/ smart phone mirroring via Steering Wheel Control - WITH QUAD VIEW/NO DVR - Availability TBD, Currently no pre-orders. Built to order upon payment. 7-10 business day turn around when released.

    - Plug n Play Multi-cam w/ smart phone mirroring via Steering Wheel Control - WITH QUAD VIEW AND DVR - Availability TBD, Currently no pre-orders. Built to order upon payment. 10-14 business day turn around when released

The 10-14 day turn around is not just the assembly per order received, it's also putting in some hardware en route to me from other sources and well, I've learned the hard way not to under estimate things in which I can't control. I'd like to lean on the shorter side, but you know...Murphy's Law. Also, the non quad view/DVR kit passed QA, QC, testing and install. It's ready to be ordered, but best not to try to part out, piece out the kit, you should wait on the one you want, because you not only want to do this once, but I'm not stocking separate parts, so for you to change your mind and want an upgrade, you'll end up have spent more, and will wait for the component to come in.

    2nd phase - 2020

    "N2 Connected Vehicle Integration"

"Live view" interior cabin camera; view anytime on your smart phone with audio via built-in mic. Like a Ring Video Camera, for your car. Anytime, anywhere. However, this will require the vehicle to be near and connected to a Wifi source like your home's driveway or office and/or add a mobile hotspot module with monthly data plan (sold separately, from a cellular provider) and live view anywhere in the world...once that's conquered, I'll be able to have you guys remotely turn on:

    - Vehicle bed-lights,
    - Smart Switch (ON/OFF),
    - Sound aux horns,
    - Monitor dealer work/progress, parked location, where it's being "test driven" to and for how long,
    - Watch teenage drivers or a cheating spouse,
    - See current weather outside your cabin rental from your warm bed (i.e. snowing, raining, etc),
    - Cabin temp prior to and after starting (or remote starting vehicle)

and whatever else you please via smartphone. Now anything you can think of you want to turn on or off anywhere in the world will be doable as much as there is for a connected home, provided you're willing to get the data module and plan from a cellular service provider...something along the lines of this:

    https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car.html

There are also non OBDII types, such as USB type hotspots, those are good because you can plug them into USB Power banks and hide them in the case of battery power being cut, you wont be offline too long. And with a cloud based IPCAM, the footage can't be destroyed!

The wifi mobile hotspot plans aren't pricey at all, if you already have ATT, the module above is an additional $10/mo to add it to you unlimited data plan.

We do it, so you don’t have to!

This is the proto. This photo is the anti-sales pitch, which is why most wont bother...we test, figure out stuff, clean it up, and make it as simple as possible for you. Those familiar with our products know what we mean about simplicity, ease and quickness of an install or else we wouldn’t bother. We’re still on the fence with this one...Because of the resources allocated for other projects, this one was for fun in between any little time off...so this vehicle has been like this for a month. It’s a 2 hour job with a finished final product.

We don’t want you to go through this birds nest so we do it first, and market the finished harnesses design like all of our products folks on TW are familiar with. If I saw this picture I would run the other way...

That picture is a little spooky but I'd rather have to go through that than not have this at all. Mostly paranoia speaking here. A dashcam is great but can only see so much. Not gonna catch someone at Walmart who scrapes the side of the vehicle.

Rest assured as much as I am delighted you're willing to go through this, I wouldn't let it happen. Not just because I care about ease of install, but I care about myself. Don't want tech support lines blowing up...

You guys think I'm stopping here?

How about "live view" camera angles, on your smart phone with audio via provided mic that is already in this system? Like a Ring Video Camera. However, this will require the vehicle to be near and connected to a Wifi source like your home's driveway or office. You can always add a mobile hotspot module with monthly data plan (sold separately, from a cellular provider) and live view anywhere in the world...once that's conquered, I'll be able to have you guys remotely turn on vehicle bed-lights, keurig machines, sound horns, watch teenage drivers, a cheating spouse, and whatever you please via smartphone. Now anything you can think of you want to turn on or off anywhere in the world will be doable provided you're willing to get the data module and plan from a cellular service provider...something along the lines of this...

    https://www.att.com/plans/connected-car.html

There are also non OBDII types, such as USB type hotspots, those are good because you can plug them into USB Power banks and hide them in the case of battery power being cut, you wont be offline too long. And with a cloud based IPCAM, the footage can't be destroyed!

I am crazy, I know. But N2 is different. Innovative is an understatement.

Haha fair enough. I can imagine, to an extent, the...dedication required to staff such support.

Until the future allows us to mentally think it, and boom it's ON...that will also be a time to be alive!

I have watched too much Knight Rider and Back to the Future. Movies ahead of their times and oddly enough, created some of these concepts decades before we had a smart watch that we spoke into to tell Alexa or Google Home to do stuff...before Tesla had auto pilot and soon to release autonomous mode where your car will COME to you from wherever it's parked...we don't need DD's anymore. "Who's picking little johnny up from Tommy's house tonight hun? Our Tesla will go get him, bottoms up!"

Now if I could master this flux capacitor thingy I'll retire happily.
