N2 DESIGNS ISSUE, FACTORY HORN WHEN REMOTE STARTING

As the title says I'm having issues remote starting my truck without the factory alarm going off everytime. Looked on their website under FAQ and the link they have for this issue is dead/broken. Every other aspect works as intended. If you know anyone who works with N2 please tag. Thanks y'all. My neighbors will appreciate y'alls help.

Any update on this? Mine does the same thing but only sometimes.
@N2DesignInc , am I too far from the vehicle? Am I tapping the fob too fast/slow?

 

Same thing. Installed last night and most of the time it honks the horn 6 or 7 times. Does not seem consistent or repeatable but it's waking the whole neighborhood up when I start my truck in the morning. Reached out to N2 via email and am awaiting a reply.

N2 just reached out. Hit the UNLOCK button before initiating remote start. Works perfect now.

 

Just realized the same thing after a lot of trial and error last night. Wasn't sure if that was a real solution or I was just getting lucky. Thanks for confirming!

Perfect? So the truck is now running with the doors unlocked? This is the remote start that doesn't shut the truck off when the door is opened correct?

 

No, if I unlock first then remote start, it will automatically lock. I have an MT so I don't have the turning off when the door opens "feature".

 

Manuals and H key are the only ones that remain running when you unlock. If you have push to start, those turn off unfortunately.
