I've had an N2 designs remote start installed in my manual Taco for 5 years with no issues. Now it will crank when attempting to remote start via the app and via the key fob, while starting with the key in the ignition works fine. I am still able to lock/unlock from the app and fob. Communication with N2 has been slow and sporadic so in the meantime asking for any ideas or if someone has also experienced this issue.

like it'll crank but not start when you remote start it, but all works properly with the physical key? I bet the OBDII connector isn't plugged in and is just dangling. I took my truck in for an oil change a couple months ago and the tech left mine that way. Plugged it back in, works as it should now.

Yeah, sounds like a wiring problem- either in the installation or internal to the module.

Man. It was right in front of me the entire time I was troubleshooting the module/it's wiring. Just had the truck in the shop and it was indeed the OBD that had been unplugged. I'm all systems go now, much appreciated
