Okay. It worked once, tried to remote start it again and no luck. I'm giving up for the day.

Everything was connected, only thing I'm slightly worried about is my shit job of splicing the tpms wire.

Would it make more sense to pull the pin in the tpms and put another in?

Something doesn't sound right... You need to call Jimmy at N2 to get you straightened out.
Once you've cut the TPMS wire, even if your connections are bad, your fob should still work to unlock the doors when remote started.
The result of a bad TPMS connection would be your TPMS light coming on and staying on during driving.
Unfortunately I think you've got more than a TPMS connector problem.

My guess it you didn't get it back in thst connector,. Yes, you would have to pull pin in connection to re- pin it properly. What did you do, just stick back in. That's what she said...lol

No, it never came out. The wire was from the wago connector that had come out.

You just need to go back through and make sure connections are right and good.

Final result is: Truck starts on 3 locks, does not stop unless I press brake pedal, fob does not unlock doors while truck is started.

That means TPMS is not being interrupted like it needs to be. Maybe you cut the wrong wire...

Hahahahahahahahahaha that would be my luck. Farthest left light pink wire, 4 down from the top since it's a 2020.

Maybe problem is in remote start then, but fob not working is definitely due to TPMS staying connected.

You happen to know if I can pull out the module all the wires are connected to by chance?

    I don't know.

    I don't think it's a bad connection.
A bad connection would leave TPMS wire disconnected which would make your dash light stay on constant when the truck is on.
A bad connection would also allow your fob to work, which it's not.

It's possible that the remote start is not opening the relay contact during remote start. Jimmy from N2 can walk you through troubleshooting over the phone.

Ah, well I'm not even sure then. Know anything about repinning this connector? The wire decided to snap and now it's ridiculously short. [IMG]

Sorry, never repinned, but honestly I'd just use an insulated butt connector and a short piece of wire to make it longer.

Stop! Call N2. They will help you solve your problem. Quit digging a hole! They will help you! At least one response has been called out as wholly inaccurate. You are getting good info from some, but you can't filter through the noise. N2 will help you. No email, call direct.
