I know you’ve got this part figured out already, but it may be helpful for anyone else in the future who installs this:

Also, don’t mean to hijack the thread. But I have a question of my own. Manual / H key here. When starting from the fob, obviously my doors are locked when the truck turns on. When starting from the phone app, the doors unlock when the truck turns on…and then I have to lock them from the phone app once I see the truck has started. Is that normal? Aside from that, everything functions properly!

On my 2018 manual I did not have to relock from the app. The unlock portion of the start sequence should be momentary. If I recall correctly, it may show as unlocked on the app, but is really locked.
Try starting if from the app and see if you can open the door when it shows unlocked.

    Looking for some help.
Installing Tacoma Push to Start (with key take over and no engine shut down)
When it comes to the module programming, step 2 says to follow in exact order.
    1. Connect the 14pin
    2. Connect the 12pin

the issue is the color reference saying to do red first and red is actually the 12 pin and blue is 14 pin.
Steps appeared to be reversed, does this matter?
