its on the inner sidewall so I'm sure it won't be able to be patched either. Now that it's cooling off I have to top off the tire every 3-4 days or the light comes on the dash. I first noticed it rotating my tires a couple months ago.

The tires only have 20k miles on them too.

I have the exact stock Dueler tire on the spare so I was thinking of just having them switched out.

However, does anyone know if the spare on an 09 has the tmps sensor?

Also, would filling with a can of run flat crap seal around the nail or is that just a bad idea?

I hate dropping another $200 for one tire.

Use that flat tire as a reason to do a lift icons and 285's just my advice.

Your spare tire should have TPMS.

If it's not in the middle section of tread, industry standard would tell most shops to not patch, although you could certainly try, some people have luck with plugs outside of that area and in the sidewall.

Could always try a patch then pony up for new tire if it doesn't hold air.

Just use the spare as your new tire. Get a used tire for a few bucks and put it on the spare wheel.

I like it. There's a used tire shop in town I've used a few times over the years.

Putting slime in the tire might gunk up and damage the sensor
