Early fall when I totally rebuilt mine.

If your cam sleeves aren't fused to the bushings and we don't have to mess with them I could swap your BJ's out on the truck in less then 1/2 hr (not including time to remove any other stuff and freeze the new BJ's).

I'd wait on the wheel bearings til they give you a signal. You'll get a pronounced vibe or noise well before they fail. No reason with them to spend the money til you need to.

My Corolla is at 189k and change, original wheel bearings with no signs of trouble whatsoever.

    'Course, it ain't modified.

That said, you'll get some sign. If you wanna be on the super safe side, jack up the truck and check for wheel play each time you oil change. Overkill, but some people like maintenance that way :D

yep. Mine "wobbled" loud for months before I changed them.

Keep an eye on spindle temp with your hand. If it gets hot under normal driving conditions it could be time to do it.

I pushed all my shit until it was the end then swapped it all at once so it would be quicker. I also stock piled parts well before hand because I knew I would need them eventually. Parts seem cheaper if you spread buying them out over time :D

Good ideas there to check and buy parts :) I don't have any vibes or squeal while driving but probably some play in the wheel and dry sounding BJ's. Feels a little sloppy sometimes...think I'll start with the BJ's and UCA's.

Yeah, definitely the place to start. Get the suspension tight and work from there.

    they are already cracked right?

If they are just get a needle fitting for your grease gun and fill them until they shoot out clean grease through the crack. Then keep up on them until your ready - that's what I did.

Just don't push them so far that your BJ pops off....that could get bad :D

keep an eye on the play

who knew that ur not supposed to double cross over signal :notsure: for some reason it sounds a ton better now! Letting the cross overs do the work while flat signal goes to them...
