i've cut up so many parts of my interior (in very visible areas too), that it's not a big deal. I figure i'll always have a cb in my truck too, so might as well make it a clean, functional instal.

Wrap it in a long and narrow shape, as you would an extension cord. We recommend using two zip ties at each end to keep the coax in place. Be careful NOT to wind the excess coax in a circular coil shape, as this can cause RF (radio frequency) issues that will interfere with your signal.

If you’re using a standard CB antenna (i.e., anything except a no ground plane, or NGP, kit), you’ll need to make sure your antenna mount is solidly grounded to the vehicle’s chassis. A bad ground will result in an un-tunable antenna and sky-high SWR levels.

Guess I has some rework to do

    Nice CB install JoeJoe.

My lazy ass has been dormant for a while on mods. That usually means some shit is getting ready to happen :)

    Thanks, and

I don't think it's working right yet, made extra coax in a perfect circle like how explained not to do, and should ground my antenna mount good, then tune swr. The coax on the radio may be a lil iffy too, will check that last. Should kick ass tho as I had this one peaked and tuned....Tune up report on youtube showed this radio swinging 25w:cool:

Gotta be the connection to the radio...I used to be the cable guy in UT for a year too  but we had special tools for the stripping and crimping of the coax fittings, made it pretty brain dead....lotta good that job is doing me now

I don't usually like a camper shell but your truck looks pretty good with the one put on. Looks like u get a lot of use out of it too. Good looking truck man!
