Montoya is worse than Patrick IMO. Larson, Whitt, and bowman are the best rookies with Larson light years ahead of the others

Congrats to Edwards. He drove the hell out of that car tonight. Props to him for sure. I was a bit worried for this race on Danica. Short tracks are some of the most challenging tracks for any driver. An 18th place finish I will be happy for at this point. She is struggling for sure. I admit I was a bit of WTF when she ran into the back corner of the other car coming out of her pit box. Shesh girl. Either way, she had a good run today. I think at least 50% of the drivers on the track hit the wall or another car tonight. That's Bristol for you! If you don't have half of them hit the wall, then there is something unusual going on at this track. Keep hating on her, she still finished better than 25 other cars. Shit happens at Bristol, and I think it was Dale Sr who said if you can get a top 20 at Bristol, you are doing good. California here we come! Time to hit Fontana!

Ya I guess any race you finish ahead of the 48 team you have done well.

Hahahahaha. Pure gold (I'm posting this from my phone, so I hope the video actually works)

If it works, someone quote this so Bill can see what other, actually talented drivers have to say about his beloved Danica.

pretty funny but in all honesty these drivers talk about everybody else. I once saw elliot sadler take out tony and tony said "boys that was all my fault I should have remembered that I need to be as far away from sadler as possible at all times"

True. I am sure I could make a similar video for just about every driver out there. Haters will be haters, plain and simple. Look at some of the rookies this year. Doing worse than she did last year.

I am curious. Am I the only one out here that A: HATES the design of the Nascar.com website, and B: HATES the way Fox does the track position ticker?

Their website is SLOW as hell, and instead of small dropdown menus, everything is HUGE. Accidentally mouse over something and it covers the entire freaking PAGE. I mean seriously?

As for Fox, Why mess with the perfect ticker that showed who was in 1st through 43rd that has been used for over a DECADE? This dual column with 1st-3rd (4th?) on the right, and then the rest follows as they go is difficult at best. And then they don't always go through the entire field. Sometimes they show like 4th thru 6th, then 7th thru 9th, then it starts all over again... Am I the only one who thinks Fox has REALLY dropped the ball the past 3 or 4 years?

    I agree Bill.
Site is so bad I don't go anymore.
Hard to tell if someone is moving up or not like you said because of their scrolling fiasco.
Always trying to reinvent the wheel and always falling short.
Lets get the cable cam out again and see how many cars we can take out..

I agree on both issues. I go to nascar on fox sports now, they seem to have more info. I have been bitching about fox and their broadcast for awhile now amongst my buddies.

Isn't this Fox's last year with NBC picking up coverage next year?

NASCAR vice president of competition and racing development Robin Pemberton said the sanctioning body is looking at ways to prolong the overall life and durability of Sprint Cup motors.
While that would be seen as a performance issue change, it could also be considered an economic change, with teams not having to spend as much as they do yearly on developing and building motors.

in other words Nascar is tired of seeing hendrick win so much

Don't like him, but congrats to K Busch. I was pretty happy with Danica today. She drove that car today! 14th isn't bad at all. She was able to go from 18th to 14th in the final 2 laps after the restart. Solid finish for her.

MAN though, tire issues ALL day long! Seems like everyone was blowing a tire. Last caution was not surprising. There were what, FOUR tires going flat in just that one lap alone?
