What I heard him say was gonna use the 10 car to get the debris off and that Danica got lose and ran up the track and it slowed him down or something like that.

 

Yep, he wasn't blaming anyone. He also said it was his fault for making that decision and should have just ran the engine hot until it died.

I am not a huge Junior fan nor was I a huge fan of his daddy but he is probably one of the more humblest drivers out there.

 

It made for a good couch nap this afternoon with the soon to be Mrs.

 

At least it's 400 miles and not 500 like it used to be!

Guess I should have used better words. If you watch the replay she didn't get loose or anything. She was just off-pace with the damage from her hitting the dang wall earlier. (Everyone hits the wall at Pocono, so she was due hers) She didn't get loose, she was just slower than he was and he came up on her faster than he thought. My dad was the one who actually told me he had blamed her about that, so I had to go back and re-watch the recording. Yeah, not a direct blame of her, just he didn't think she was off pace. Either way I am just glad he didn't win.

I actually like MIS, been there once or twice when I was 6 or 7.

Going to get a whole lot more expensive for Gene when not if she wrecks those cars.

 

Haas is only speculating that he would like her to be their driver. I seriously doubt he will take her out of cup this early in her career and send her back to F1. He specifically says that she would be his "dream driver" in the fact that she doesn't weigh much, and that it would be the dream choice to have her. He didn't say he was going to PUT her in the car. That isn't going to happen I think for a while. He is going to want to give her a couple more years at least in Cup I bet.

 

What do you mean " send her back to F1 " she's never been in F1

 

Her contract runs through 2015 with Stewart-haas, I can't see her staying in nascar beyond that

 

I can, she's a cash cow through advertisements and how much commentary is given to her.

 

I tell you what. I will make you a bet. $50 says she will either renew her Cup contract with Haas, or sign with a new Cup team for 2016. Wanna take the bet?
