Didn't think there was any instigating going on from Brad? The crew members from kahne, gordon sure did though.

As much as I hate BK, I can't completely blame him here. HOWEVER, I think there is unwritten rules amongst drivers. Mainly, race a driver how you would like to be raced. Brad made a very aggressive move taking that hole. He knew Gordon was going to come back down once he started the turn. So if Bk is going to take aggressive moves like that and cause contact/wrecks, he should expect and take the same kind of racing in return. And I guarantee you he wouldn't like what happened if the roles were reversed.

Now I hope NASCAR slaps some wrists and fines, but doesn't do anything else. I want to see how this plays out at Phoenix next week. Gordon shouldn't be threatened by NASCAR to not retaliate. They should settle this on the track.

    Oh and WOOOOOOO JJ

The way I see it, These drivers were going for the win. If they were back in the pack and this happened, I would say Brad made a stupid move. Considering what he had to gain, I don't see a problem with the move he made. These days, winning is everything, as it should be. He wasn't trying to get into him. Gordon came down.

I agree for the most part. You're racing for a win and Brad needs to win to get in pretty much. It was just a really aggressive move. The way Gordon takes the high side on the turns, he starts heading high going into the turn, then you turn down into it so that hole would have closed off. Brad saw the hole and took it, he didn't do anything "wrong". But like I said, if he is going to drive that aggressive, he better be willing to take it when it comes back around.

Just thought about something: Harvick loves to talk about how he likes to fight, but here's a quick rundown of his "fights"

2014: shoves Brad then runs away like a girl
2010: harvicks crew guys surrounded harvicks car as joey Logano (yes, that joey logano (at 19 years old) storms over
2008: fights with Carl Edwards during practice, only footage is a few pictures of him getting punked out by Edwards
2007: gets pushed around by juan pablo Montoya
2003: drives his car into ricky Rudds on pit road, waits for his crew, screams at ricky, then he and his crew jump on Ricky's car then run away
2002: grabs Greg Biffle (of all drivers) by the collar while threatening him

Oh, and also... He lets another man (Tony stewart) grope his wife, and says that's "normal". Delana and Tony are probably bumping uglies and have been for as long as they've been in Sprint Cup

let's not forget about the numerous times he's stopped in the pits and blocked another driver's pit stall or thrown a fit after the race. Harvick is a stuck up little wuss.

oh and i like your quote in your sig about the mod logic. can't tell you how many times i've been scrolling on here at work and there's boobs in someone's sig, i don't understand that logic whatsoever.

Harvick likes to train in MMA so he either
A: Knows he could fight and holds back. or
B: Thinks he can fight now and wants to act all tough and stuff.

I just watched the end of the race taped and what a little bitch move by Harvick. Gordon left the door wide open and Brad took the hole. As much as I dislike Brad it was a racing incident and any driver would have made the same move going for the win. Nascar isn't open wheel racing and a little bumping is and should be expected. It's unfortunate that Gordon got a flat tire, but it is what it is.

Remember when Carl Edwards clipped Brad at Atlanta and sent him flying upside down into the fence. Now that was dangerous and uncalled for.

1 Kahne and 2 gordon crew members fined 25K each, suspended next races, hopefully a rule is implemented to stop the crew involvement in driver disputes.

Edit more: 3 other gordon crew members with France and Gustafson 6 races and 50K

Phoenix will be wild... Nobody locked in yet, everyone with a legitimate chance of making the final four at homestead. For the first time this season I'm really pumped for a race!

This new format has made the racing waaaayyy better IMO. I was tired of hearing drivers say " well we had a good points day"

The regular season was kinda boring, there were only about 5 drivers with a legit chance to win every week: 2, 4, 22, 24, or 48. Seemed like everytime I checked in, it was one of those five leading.

I personally never used to mind the "good points day". You can only have one winner a week, so you're guaranteed 42 losers (whereas in other sports you have one winner and one loser). But I must say, NASCAR has finally done something right with the new points format

So 2nd Lagano 6th Newman, and 17th Hamlin in old chase format will be battling for a championship in new chase format if they have top ten finishes this weekend. Gordon, Kenseth, keselowski, Edwards, and Harvick will need a win and if no win a lot of luck to take that 4th spot

Yeah heard about that on Sirius. If this turns out to be true, this could be huge. Probably not Ray rice huge since (I'm guessing) there's no video, but definitely big. And here I thought Kurt had turned a corner...
