I don't buy that. Why would an admittedly ultra-competitive guy, who's been overshadowed by his teammate for two years, who is himself, in the CHASE, and in the top 5 late in the race intentionally break his car to take out an over the hill competitor for the sake of his teammate? I don't buy it one bit. Sure, in the modern multi-team state of the sport, drivers can and do try to manipulate the outcome, but I don't think Brad nor the Captain would condone ruining the season of one team for the sake of the other.

 

What would dale sr do.... Dump his ass... That's real racing... They all wreck each other. Need I list more cases?

Actually 3 was my favorite driver, but you keep being wrong cause it's my favorite.

 

Then using that logic, what if Kansas was a setup? What if the 18, 19 and 11 were not going to make the cut so Coach told Kenseth to "take a dive, wreck yourself & the 22 so we can tighten the point margin and all advance?" it's a crazy speculation and totally not feasible but you're saying they all do this so WHAT IF?
