    Hey all!

Well my wife thought she would get me a Warn M8000 for christmas :) She's amazing! Now it's time to build a bumper to house the Winch. My initial thoughts are a tube bumper since thats what I had built before.

I started by welding 1/4" angle between the front frame rails. This will be a good backing for the winch/bumper mount to bolt to and stiffen up the assembly. Next I fabbed together the winch holder and bumper base. I cut off the old side bumper mounts and beefed them up to 1/4". I also welded taps to follow the frame back and catch 4 more bolts at the tow hooks.

Here are the pics of my progress so far... Please ask questions I'd be happy to answer.

Well so far I'm just running the stock springs with a I believe a toytec spacer......I'd love to eventually run a set of racerunner or ICON's but theres many options out there. I've also been pondering the idea of robbing the mini axle from my 83 1st gen and doing a SAS.... Who know's for now I'm running the stock springs
