Saw you on the 101 today in the jetta wagon, truck looks sweet man. If I ever run into you around town I'll be happy to buy you a beer.
    PS
Your driver side fender flare is going to fly off since the bottom isn't latched with the orange/blue plastic things ( ask me how I know )

Haha. Thanks man! Yeah, I live in Ventura so you will probably see me around. I've been meaning to finish up the fenders/flares. They're just hanging in there right now.

How do you like the TDI wagon? Been looking at wagon deisels.

Right on man! I'm always checking out every taco I see on the road. Flash or wave next time!

Truck is gorgeous! You've officially made me jealous! How do you like your softopper? I'm thinking of a black one for my Silver Access Cab.

Hopefully I get to check it out in person on Friday if you make it to the meet.

Theyre great man, almost no maintenance and 40+ mpg. Cost me between 35-40 to fill up and I would get between 500-600 miles on a tank.

Let me know if you ever want help with an install haha

Yeah man. Thanks! Same to you. Let me know if you need any help with anything. I got two hands and some tools.
    ----

I've haven't updated this build in a long time but here is what Wyatt from RST was getting at. We got these guys in back in May. Twin stick FJ case and 4.7 Marlin Crawler Taco box.

    From the inside

I'll have to update later with more info and photos. Still behind on updates for the cases, electrical, roof rack, OBA and I'm sure a few other things.

    Stay tuned

Beast! Do you have it all wired up to the dash lights when you engage 4x4?

It'd been a blast building this thing and an even better time driving it everywhere it's taken me. The miles keep stacking and the adventures keep coming.

Yup! Credit goes to Wyatt for all that. All dash lights work and coincide with the right settings.

Damn I feel dumb I don't know why but I thought you could just twin stick it and install a crawl box with a manual tacoma. Well you learn something new everyday I guess.

    Thanks guys!

Yeah man! Did it a few months back. Took it out to John Bull up in Big Bear. So much control!
Sticking with the ARB twin for now. I'll get photos up once it's done.
Manual or Auto, RST and Marlin got you covered!

Did you put in a body lift to help with clocking the tcase after the crawler install?

Do you always need to do the Twin Stick and Crawler Box at the same time? Like if you wanted to keep your stock T-Case can you just do the Crawler Box, or the Twin Stick by itself?
    Thanks!

They are independent but if you're doing the crawler you may as well do the fj case as well.

No body lift since I didn't clock the t-case. Some choose to clock it to gain a little ground clearance. By doing that, you move the t-case oil pick up which can cause insufficient cooling/circulation and premature wear on the parts. The trade off wasn't worth it to me at this time.

^^ What he said. They do require cutting into your floor boards. So you might as well do it once and be done with it. But if you were to choose one to do first, I'd say go twin stick followed by taco box.

Thanks bro! You know the pleasure of hitting that double compound low. It's insane.
