Have a few updates with the truck. Was able to get a full spare my buddy found for me and him(02Goldie) have to give a shout out to him for finding them. So now I can take the one that ive had on the top since now off cause i cant use it since i have 285/75/16 now. One other thing that i have in progress right now is im having Chad or 01Tacoma making me a rear swing out tire carrier for the truck. im STOKED about seeing the progress of the bumper and thankfully he's local!!! Thanks Chad appreciate it man!!

Duct tape method gets the job done. This Messcan did the same. Except I got over spray I'm trying to get off.

Nice, you found a local fabricator. Looking forward to seeing how your swing-out turns out.

Try it out, I don't think it would be a big deal to see the plain metal behind the black face of the wheel. But it would look cool completely blacked out, especially since your spare will be more visible on the swing out carrier. Let me know how it goes

got to snag a pic of the truck before going to cut down trees that are rotten on our land and cut them up and bust them for the winter. didnt look like it phased the truck at all pulling a heavy trailer with a B7500 Kubota Tractor behind it. suspension done great pulling it dont think it squatted it any. it was a champ!!

Figured I would update the thread so Ya'll will know whats all going on. the swing out tire carrier is finished. WOOT WOOT!!! Chad or 01tacoma brought it up here Friday morning and dropped it off with me. It was sick how he designed it for me. It had everything i could ask for and even more. He does a great job at fabricating one up imo anyways. I will recommend him to others here on the forum or around the area. As of right now I took it down Saturday to a guy my dad knows to be sandblasted then seriously thinking about having it powdercoated if its not to much. I forgot to get pics of it before i took it cause i was too excited looking at all he done. Ill be going Thursday down to help sandblast it and ill get some pics then.

bumpers should be sandblasted thursday and ill get some pics then. im seriously thinking about powdercaoting them if it dont cost too much. What do ya'll think? or go with industrial paint to paint them.

Good'ol paint in a can has worked well for me thus far. Plus it's easy to touch up or re-spray when needed. Rustoleum has been my brand of choice, also thinking about trying their Bedliner once I get my bumper and weld it up.

Chad or 01Tacoma on here. It also has a jerry can mount but didn't get pics of that and a hi lift mount. Them pics was before it was getting sandblasted and after both bumpers were done I took them to be powdercoated. Should be installing the middle of next week.

Hey man, really nice rig! Can't wait to see the swing out coated and mounted up!

Quick question - did you need to do any mods to exhaust when adding those rear adjustable length shackles? Thinking about purchasing same set. Also did your ome bushings work or did you need to purchase new ones?

Thanks man. for the exhaust i had to cut it a little ways back because of the dackers i probably would have had to cut the exhaust anyway for the shckles as much as it pulls the springs down. i didnt have to order new bushing for my dakars when i ordered mine it came with them when i ordered them.
