Yeah just push a 1" .50 piece of chromo through the hole you drill in the tubing and weld it. Just make damn sure both side line up or youll have a hell of a time getting a bolt in. lol

Thanks dude, maybe weld it with a bolt in them already? That way it should line up easily

yes depending on the mounting width of your shocks (not sure if yours are 1.25 or 1.5 width) stack up washers or a piece of the same 1" .25 as a spacer and center it and weld them up

I had to go back to work, and I ran out gas for my welder. But some stuff is getting done. Put in my new marlin crawler clutch. Its a little heavier than stock, so we'll see how it goes.

    Ok, two things.
One, I need strike pads on top of my rear axle for my bumpstops right? Does anyone have pics?
Two, does limit strap angle matter? I noticed some straps are angled a lot so I figured I'd ask.
I think I'll just do mine like this, or is having a clevis better?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Check out Jberry's build thread he just installed his new tundy axle & you can see his strike pads. I believe he bought them from Ruff Stuff. (would link but on phone)

    2. Angle doesn't really matter, usually angled back to stay outta the way and what not. Just make sure you get the proper length for the angle you're planning on. Yes Clevis is better, allowing you to adjust them as they stretch over time, keep everything in spec.

I was thinking 1/8" or 3/16", but leaning toward 3/16".
