Thanks man! As for mods, some things will be happening...

Yeah the plate bumper was fun to build.
And starting from the frame is kinda easier, but I ended up replacing way more than I had to.

So my carrier bearing is shot. I reached under the truck and shook my driveshaft around. I'm kicking myself for not checking it sooner.
At least now I know whats making the whole truck shake on the highway:rolleyes:

1 hour to change it out. Not bad.
I'll see how it drives later on the highway. I have a good feeling that it will be much better, since my old one was really worn out.

Got pulled over for the first time today.
No ticket but I can't drive the truck until I get it inspected. I'll need mudflaps and a new rear bumper that complies with the regs.
Oh well, more incentive to work on it.

At least no tickets. Its actually been uninsured for the last month and I just got insurance for the week since family is coming over.
One day on the road and I get this.
I was planning on taking it off the road for a couple months anyway, but whatever.

Yeah for mudflaps I want them removable. For the rest, I'll just have to see what they want me to do.

Nah man, you should be good. I've never seen anyone get in trouble for a plate bumpers. Plus my tires stick waaaaay out, and no mudflaps was really obvious.
For the rear bumper, he said check with the inspection guys, and its supposed to be able to crumple for other drivers "safety". I'll ask and I can let you know too

Funny thing. So this week is the Shambala music festival here and they bring in a shit load of RCMP from Kelowna and other areas to help with check stops and stuff. Well i go through a check stop after work and the officer says my tires are sticking out too far! They are like maybe 2" fast the fender. Gives me a warning and says i need to get flares :(

    Wicked shots btw

Thanks! And I went around to the inspection places around town for some info and they said yes to mudflaps, and dafuq to the rear bumper thing. There aren't regs on what the bumper can be made of, only if its missing or broken. I wouldn't worry about your bumper.
