    I have a lot of different nationalities in my blood just like most Americans I think. The main nationality is Danish with a Danish last name, then Italian, and I have been told some German and Irish. :) And recently my grandma hired a company to do a genealogy lookup and we found out that we are distant relatives of George Mason, which is kinda cool.

    This is kinda a cool thing to do, here is a company I found out about a long time ago that can collect your DNA for Genetic Genealogy. You send them in a mouth swab and then they can anaylize your DNA markup. From that they can tell you where your ancestors originated from, their path of migration, and where they have scattered throughout time. They can also tell about mutations that can trace distant ancestral lines, but also give you information about your more recent ancestry.

    I haven't myself done this, but I find the field of DNA research fascinating.
