    High school is basically a botched social experiment to try and mold kids into regular community-safe humans. What better way to learn how to relate to people from different walks of life than to meet people from all over the country?

    Also, if you happen to take a Sociology class, offer to write an extra credit paper on the experience and the people so that you can miss a day and not have your grade suffer.

    There. Problem solved. Your covered. You can come now.
