Any way I can stop this?

Just drove to the ski hill today (180km each way), and my navigation (entire system) rebooted twice, losing all my settings. I've read this is not unique.
Is there a fix for this???

I don't mean to add fuel to the fire, but, the entune system in my 4Runner (2014 Trail Edition Premium) freezes up and does this to me all the time. I finally got it to stop rebooting by "reinstalling" the software, which is probably not the correct technology, but you get the idea. The only way I'd catch that it was freezing was by glancing at my nav and noticing the arrow not tracking along the route. Frustrating, to say the least, in a $40k+ truck

This is a long time Entune specific problem.

    Talk to your dealer.

we have entune updates for multiple models for multiple reasons at the dealership. definitely not uncommon unfortunately looking through toyota documents it doesnt look like there is an update for the 16 tacoma, which sucks because my mine did the same thing yesterday. so hopefully they release something soon. also it wouldnt hurt to take it to the dealership so it can be documented and toyota can recognize theres a problem
