The navigation system on my 2015 Tacoma works great (for the most part), but the ETA for navigating is way off. Example, a 3 hour programmed drive to Taos should take 3 hours (verified by Google) however, the NAV system showed closer to 4 hours and an 84 mile drive was shown to be almost 2 hours. My Garmin was always right on the money for arrival times but the Tacoma, not so much. Have I missed something in the set-up or is this just the way they are...?
    Thanks,
    Rick

I would bet that it uses posted speed limit values instead of actual traffic flow values for its calculations like the more sophisticated systems do. In both our '08 Ford Expedition and '12 Challenger I always can beat the initial estimated arrival time. Of course, they both "adjust" it so it gets closer to the actual time the closer you get to your destination. :)

Thanks, I suspected as much. Just wanted to be sure I didn't miss something in the set up...
