Just picked up my taco from dealer.Took in for nav update,ser.mgr. said there was a new one out{mine is 4qtr,2010;in a truck built 07,2012}!Anyway,was now told, that"oh I was wrong, this was just a update to your Entune",thougt that there was a nav update in it also, but there wasnt, and there's still no updates for now .Said they won't be out till Oct?Maybe I'm expecting to much{and tell me if I am},but, when you pay $35000,cash,for a truck, should have newer nav info than almost 2 years old. Now,will be 3 years old when and if there's a new one this fall. The ser.mgr. also said"Toyota is not very prompt with there nav update",no duh!Just thought the Toyota would be more "prompt" about things.???

There is a reason aftermarket dvd producers are still in business. Has your nav led you to in incorrect location or has it not found something you are looking for?

Toyota makes vehicles as their primary focus, not updating nav software every year. if it bothers you buy a pioneer or the like that have updates all the time.

Well, kinda of expect current stuff, the truck is state of the art.As for wrong place's,it doesn't have several new "major"road bypasses on it,that's be finished for at least 1 1/2 yr.

The engine was mostly worth the stereo to me I mean the nav is nice but when it comes down to it I will be upgrading it once Toyota stops supporting it for thisngeneration
