Navigation "Avoid Freeways" Setting

I updated my software/firmware today, and for some reason when I choose a route, the nav avoids freeways.

I recall setting this a while ago, but it wasnt doing it recently.

How do I turn "Avoid freeways" off?

I have gone through every setting in the app list and "General" settings. Does anyone have the latest firmware and know the path to this setting?

Following so I can learn how to turn it on.

 

From the map screen, press option, then edit route, then preferences.

 

Hmm am I dense or what... I dont see that path.

When you actually put in a destination and it shows the routes you have an option to change the settings to avoid things like tolls and avoid freeways and all that good stuff. I wish I could get a pic of it from mine but I'm busy with classes today

 

Yep. When you select a destination you will get a few more options.

My god, why did Toyota force you to make a global change to a custom waypoint/process.
