Maner started putting everything together before I got there tonight, so we finished that, opened op the tent mounting holes, mounted the tent, and opened it up.

Sweet build man, I really like how the tent opens up over the back

    Thank you!
This way we don’t have to step down onto cold/wet ground!

The tent has an annex, and I intend to make a floor out of that play mat type foam.

Apparently this is also perfect height for a grown grizzly bear.

That is an awesome build. Excellent design and fab.
I would like to put something like this together long term.

Loaded up all the toys to go start wiring. I know Maner has most of this stuff, but sometimes it’s easier to work when it’s all sitting on my tailgate.

    3EFF962A-2DEF-4A7D-9036-EBEC0FD9F638.jpg

With the toolbox in place, I was happy to see that my swingout will clear, and I can open the tailgate.

    6D98CB21-D6A1-498A-9FE1-4848EBD8193E.jpg

Running the wiring and looming it al went super quickly and wasn’t too bad.

Turns out just matching the colors doesn’t work, because of course they don’t use the same colors consistently. TIL.
Oh well. I figured it out, and now it has lights. Yay, now we’re legal.

Last bit of fabrication for now. Time to go use it, then I can change what I need to.

Awning added, some lights installed under the tent. Supports added to the burner for a smaller pan/coffee percolator.

Made it home around 11:30 tonight. No issues towing.

Looks awesome! Have a great camping trip and let us know what worked and what needs to change. I’m still excited to see how the cooker will be set up on the swing out.

Hell yeah man! Its looking good and should be a great setup. Excited to hear how it goes on the first shake down trip and what changes you want to make to start fine tuning it to your needs/wants.

Thanks, y’all. Only a couple more days to get it where I want to be, before I’m living in it for a week.

Built out the box, mounted almost all of the things. Hopefully tomorrow will be the wiring.

    55D3A5A2-BF98-4925-A7D6-3434ED45AA4E.jpg

Not sure I’ll need a 1000w inverter, but I received two in the solar package, so one will be here.
You can also see the Noco battery charger, solar controller, master cutoff, fuse panel, and backside of the switch panel.

I wired up the lights the other night, but never connected them. Huzzah, they work.

Looks great, loving the build BUT, how's the 1-2-3 Block fit into this?

That's really funny. I was just over helping my son with a project and asked what's with the 1-2-3 block. His reply, "I'm the only idiot that uses a 1-2-3 block for a simple wood project". I laughed like hell.
