I agree with what you are saying. I don't think people should be allowed in shopping centers and some restaurants (excluding ones that have bars) and of course, bars and clubs. It's your decision if you have to eat there or not, and you know going into it that there will more than likely be someone smoking when you get there, so it is ultimately ones decision if they want to eat there or not based on the fact that they know there will be someone smoking there.

This was not meant to be any type of political thread, just saying that starting on the 2nd of this month, NC has a new law banning smoking.

While I agree with you post 99.99%... Type 1 Diabetes is not related to diet only to chance and genetics.

Type 2 on the other hand is preventable and controllable through diet and exercise.

    No need for a lock.

Everything is civil and IMHO very well debated by 2 members.

welcome to the progressive nanny state. we are not smart enough to decide for ourselves, so the government will do it for us.

I am aware. Type II DM is starting to reach epidemic proportions in the US alongside obesity - and in large part due to the same factors that cause obesity. Type I is hardly on the radar, as it's much less common.

And yes, doin' our best to keep it civil here.
