lol I think I'm gonna stick with the 26s. Maybe 27 or 28s if ITP puts out a Terracross in those sizes. I'm pretty set on them based on friends' recommendations. And yes I have the thumb warmer. It came with the Heat Demon Dual Zone kit. (grips and thumb) I installed my Powermadd Star handguards on sunday so I need to post pics of those.

Oh, and last night I installed the ECGS solid bushing: HOLY SHIT! I've had a vibration during braking for 40k and that solved it! Still have a little noise but I think it belongs to a wheelbearing

I've come to realize I'll never want to really beat my truck and "wheel". I'll go on some lighter trails but I'm not interested in putting so much money into it that I'll never see again and I have gotten to the point I realize I'll never want to keep my truck long enough to do all this to it. I have my Grizzly for tough trails and fun. Starting to consider selling the Pelfreybilt and going to a stock front end again, selling the LB and getting a SB with a stick. If I do:
    DCSB V6 6-speed
    OME lift
    285s
    Sliders
    Hidden winch
    Minor mods.
Might take a roadtrip in the next couple weeks to a couple dealers and discuss numbers just for shits and grins. Probably won't happen soon but it's what will most likely happen. Someday maybe look into getting an old truck to beat the shit out of.

Way to realize it early Nick! If its not your thing to beat on a fairly new truck then don't do it. At least you haven't done any "permanent" mods to it yet. It kinda sounds as if you are a little bored of driving a truck with an auto tranny? I know I would be.

Btw, Those new hand guards look good!

Thanks man. I definitely want a standard again and I just don't have it in me to smash up a 30k truck. I really think it was seeing the pics of BGR's truck that did it. I realized that what happens if some idiot smashes into me? I'd lose it all in the blink of an eye.

It's sweet man! And you have a BSP truck too! Hmmmm... I may just be PMing you in the near future

If you wait until late summer/fall I'll pick it up. Maybe before then if I'm up for more than a weekend and we can work something out.

I won't be serious about selling it until I'm really ready for a new truck. Got other things to pay off first then worry about getting a new truck

I totally understand man. Probably better off with an older rig so you don't have to worry about damaging it, etc. I must have missed what happen with BGR's rig....

Slid off a trail and smashed passenger side in. Totaled. Bought an 03 4Runner yesterday to replace it.
I won't want to keep a truck til it dies and make it worth while to do all these mods to it that involve hacking body parts and such. I wanted to go to 285s this spring, but now with wanting a new truck I'll run these 265s til they die and probably put my stock tires back on til I get rid of the truck or I completely ruin them.
I have simple plans (lift, wheels, tires, sliders, hidden winch) for the next one to make it capable on easy-moderate trails and will be a photobug and shotgun rider for real hard trail runs.

What! Holy shit, he must have slid off the trail hard! Man that makes me cringe thinking about that happening. Although it is a risk we all take, I certainly wouldn't ever think that would happen to me, but that shit does. Sometimes I wish I would have went a different route instead of hacking my truck up like I did, but whats done is done and I do love it more than ever. Like you, I plan driving my truck till the wheels fall off, besides my resale value is shot now. lol
I think your plans for your next rig would be a perfect setup, simple, functional and gets the job done for pretty much everything but the hard core type stuff.

Been playing a bunch lately! Mud Lites are impressing me in deep snow! I keep trying to climb banks though. They're usually a bit harder than I expect :anonymous:
I had only spun down through the first layer here:
There was about 8" under that!

And Thursday just played in the yard:

Thankfully my brother was home and could help pull me off a couple high centers where we had plowed lol
